It’s no secret that family photoshoots can feel super stressful at times. From coordinating outfits to getting everyone ready and out of the house on schedule, there are so many factors that go into a family photoshoot. Lucky for you, family photoshoots are some of my favorite, and as someone who has photographed hundreds of families, I’ve learned lots of tips and tricks over the years to help you pull off an amazing family photoshoot.

Lifestyle family sessions have a special place in my heart. It’s always been so important to me to document families in real time, exactly how they are now. Through the phases that kiddos go through, to the activities that families enjoy doing together, it’s my job to portray the love of a family in the realest way possible.

I had the honor of traveling to Georgia awhile back to photograph the Rodriguez Family. Sherry and I went to college together throughout undergrad and graduate school, which made their session all the more special.

In-home lifestyle sessions can sometimes feel intimidating, but I am here to tell you that these sessions are some of the most memorable. My brother and sister-in-law recently moved to Atlanta where their family grew by two. They welcomed twin boys and, alongside their spunky toddler, opted for a cozy in-home lifestyle session complete with the perfect outfits and the most beautifully decorated space.
