This family photoshoot up on Arabia Mountain, just outside Atlanta, was, unequivocally, one of my favorite sessions of all time. An incredible setting sun on top of a stunning mountaintop? Sign me up every single time. But what made this session extra special were the people in front of the camera!

When M reached out to me this past fall about doing some updated family photos, I was already excited that I was going to be meeting some new folks in the area since, for all intents and purposes, we are still fairly new to the Greater Atlanta area. We chatted, planned, and ultimately decided on Arabia Mountain for their session. Initially, I thought they meant the meadow nearby, since I knew they were bringing two littles with them and I wanted to make sure we weren’t tackling anything they couldn’t handle. However, M let me know she meant the actual mountain and reassured me that the kiddos were troopers…they could definitely hang!
