Hey, I'm Christie, an elopement and lifestyle photographer based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. 

I am so glad you are here and am excited to share a little about myself because once we start working together, my goal is to get to know you so I can tell your story in the best, most authentic way possible.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I moved out west with my husband and our two pups before starting a family that now includes our two children, Luca and Siena. They are 100% my inspiration for starting this little business and have been my muses from day one. We are an adventurous bunch and have taken them on some pretty wild adventures. Like that one time we woke up at sunrise and hiked 15 miles down and back up the Grand Canyon in one day...with a three month old baby. Or that time we summited Mt. Baden-Powell with two toddlers strapped to us in those crazy hiking carriers, inciting curious (and some cursory) glances from fellow hikers.

As I said, we like adventure!

Because of our love for challenging, wild thrills in the outdoors, I also have a penchant for road trips. Who needs an airplane when you've got a tank of gas and good tunes, am I right? We've traveled cross-country from Florida to California and have explored the likes of Utah, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and of course, the entirety of California. If I can get there by car, there is a 90% chance that is how I will be arriving. 

Of course, life is about balance, right? We love spending time indoors too, cuddling up on the couch to watch Star Wars, Jurassic Park, or the latest Disney flick. I enjoy a good glass of wine, an intriguing novel, and a fantastic piece of cake---sometimes in that exact order. 

So now that you know about me...what about you? What is your story? Sharing my own passions is important because it helps you get a sense of who I am and what it will be like to work together (I promise, I will try not to blabber on about how much I am obsessed with Taylor Swift). It's not always easy to open up and let others in but once you get to know me, I think you'll find I am that friend you didn't know you needed. I will listen to the things that make you excited, dream up incredible ideas for your elopement, learn about what makes your child smile. Because in the end, I want to document all of that for you---your love story. Your journey.

Style...More than just a Taylor Swift Song

Candid, artful, deep, warm, and playful are some of the words that come to mind when thinking of my style. I take deep pride in not only shooting but editing and making each photo perfect in its own way. Sometimes they may not seem completely perfect on paper but they likely tell a story. And telling your story is so incredibly important to me. I am extremely intentional in the work that I take on. I don't take every project that comes my way because I really believe that your photographer should feel passionate about what they are shooting. Working on projects that don't spark that passion (like big weddings, for example) are so much harder for me to tell a story with. As a specialized elopement and lifestyle photographer, I am able to tell your story in the most intimate, raw, and real way possible when I feel connected to the work I am doing. The creative energy and excitement that comes from telling your elopement story from start to finish is indescribable. The rush I get from capturing those teeny, tiny in between moments with your child, or even your fiancé, is unparalleled. Documenting your final days as just a couple before your little one arrives gives me goosebumps.
